It's the most wonderful time of the year! I'm singing that in my Andy Williams voice. Yes, the holidays season snuck up on is again and I want to make sure you're properly prepared to tackle all of the calories and temptation that will come your way. Check out my hacks and tips below to avoid the end of the year bloat and remorse.
Bring a healthy dish, that you will enjoy, to the holiday parties that you’re attending
Eat holiday foods slowly and pace yourself so you’re full before you’ve eaten too much
Be sure to consume your recommended daily amount of water every day, no matter what
Do some type of workout in the morning, at least 3 times each week
For buffet style meals, scan the table before filling your plate and make healthier choices
Use smaller plates as often as possible, so you’re not overeating
Share candy and dessert gifts with others, instead of eating them by yourself
And most importantly, remember the reason for the season, spread good vibes and be intentional about making good choices! I'd love to hear your feedback, so feel free to post your questions/comments on my Facebook page. Here's to taking time to #PressHealthyButtons!
