Pumpkin Fun


Can you believe the end of October is already here? That means pumpkin time is in full effect. Most people enjoy carving pumpkins around this time of the year, but they don't take full advantage of this awesome fruit! Did you know pumpkins are a part of the fruit family?

I will take a few moments to share some fun facts and tasty ways to use a pumpkin. Pumpkins have great antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, which means they're great for joint health. They're high in vitamin A, which is great for your eye health. Pumpkins are also a great source of potassium, zinc, fiber and vitamin C! Pumpkin seeds are very good for you as well. They are a great source of protein and magnesium.
